    Outfit of the Night Inspo

I love the idea of re-working and remixing outfit formulas that I am enjoying and that I feel comfortable and confident in. At the moment, for me that’s a knitted dress or skirt and jumper co-ord and a pair of long boots. It feels a little bit luxe, super comfortable, hides my lumps and bumps and keeps me feeling sexy (I guess that would be the long boots) without being too exposed.

As I am getting older, I am noticing how much comfort I take from being that bit more covered up when I go out, which essentially leaves me feeling way more confident. Having said that, I never want to look like I’m hiding my body or compromising the joy of I find in my clothes because of this. This dress bought me all the comfort (the silhouette is very relaxed), a little bit of sexiness (it’s open knit with a short cami beneath, so there’s a little bit of skin and leg on show) and needless to say the sequins and sparkle added the fun!

Admittedly the sequins are a little bit scratchy, so be warned if are considering this dress. But this will definitely be an outfit I’ll be reworking over the festive period. The silhouette is comfortable and the boots just elevate even the simplest of black dresses.
