I’ve been sharing some new additions to my makeup collection in stories, but in this video I wanted to create a look using some of my current absolute makeup faves. I have been banging on about the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation for a while now, it leaves my skin looking like it’s been airbrushed and so unbelievably flawless that I am having to do a double take when I look in the mirror because the finish on this foundation is unreal. I am also a huge fan of the Estee Lauder blusher and highlight and contour duo, they are just both so pigmented – you don’t need to use a lot of either. I hate using blushers that aren’t super pigmented because you end up having to use more to get the desired colour, but then you get that annoying product build up on your skin that leaves a mark on your face when you take your sunglasses off! First world problems eh?!
The Code 8 Beauty eyeliner has been totally game changing too, on a good day I have been able to achieve a really sharp, precise and fine line super easily. I say on a good day, because sometimes I am able to do my eyeliner in a single swoop and other days it takes a bit of effort to get that fine line that I want. I used to love a thicker line on my eyes, but a fine line is paramount for making my eyes look bigger and highlight the shape of my eyes. Another Code 8 Beauty favourite is the Matte Velour lipstick in Lima, it’s hydrating and moisturising so it feels really nice on the lips but has a matte finish. I am not a huge fan of dark lipsticks so I will always opt for brighter colours like reds, oranges and pinks or pinky, creamy browns for day to day. This shade is perfect because it is a perfect pink for everyday and works with just about any eyeshadow or blusher shade I am likely to wear.
I have been asked to share a brow tutorial and didn’t include my brow routine in this video, because that needs a whole video in itself! But I am still using Refy Beauty Brow Sculpt and Brow Pomade, Estee Lauder Featherlight Enhancer and Glossier Brow Flick.
