Hello Ladies, here’s a style round up of the key pieces you would have seen me styling on Instagram and on YouTube over the past week or so. I wanted to start off the season by investing in the basics that I plan to build my autumn winter wardrobe around. Pieces that are functional and versatile and that I know I will wear loads this winter and the next.
My autumn/winter style is a lot more classic and polished than my summer style, the colours are more neutral and the outfits that bit more chic and sleek as opposed to floral and flirty. What I love about styling the transitional season is mixing and matching across the seasons, making summer dresses feel that bit more autumnal and finally being able to get my blazers out again!
And as we’re finally back out and about again, my favourite nursery run uniform is back in rotation, jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, low heeled shoes and Mum a Porter bags. As much as I love to dress up and have had quite a few days where I’ve actually had the chance to get spruced up, there’s nothing that I love styling more than the basics – I like to think that’s when you’re real personal style can really shine through.
